Springkell House in Hindhead is a Victorian building retaining many original features despite being extensively and sympathetically refurbished, adapted and equipped recently to provide the comforts and care required by present day living. Standing in its own well landscaped grounds, overlooking the Golden Valley, close to the delightful “Devils Punch Bowl”, our location encourages our residents to take full advantage of the air purity of “little Switzerland” and the nearby National Trust land.

Emergency call system in each room and communal areas.
Specially adapted shower and bath facilities.
Two passenger lifts and one chair lift.
Well landscaped and secure garden area.
Dedicated dining room.
Hairdressing salon.
Two separate lounges.
Library and reading area.
Internet facility.
Services Offered
We provide specialist care for up to 34 elderly people of both sexes with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. We recognise that for people with dementia there are special considerations that we need to be particularly sensitive to and that many residents still retain ability. We have staff who are fully qualified and trained in dementia care activities, thus bringing long-term experience and expertise.
We can also provide short-term respite care or day care.
